Fanoos Telecom, a licensed telecommunications operator in Iraq, provides voice and data services using CDMA and WiMAX technologies across 7 governorates, including the Kurdistan region. In operating within high-conflict zones like Syria, Fanoos faced significant challenges in maintaining uptime and managing the health of their network infrastructure. We partnered with Fanoos Telecom to provide resilient, real-time infrastructure support, including site restoration, performance monitoring, and system optimization, ensuring continued service delivery despite operating in a volatile environment.
Operating telecom infrastructure in conflict-affected regions created significant challenges, including frequent network outages, hardware failures, limited site accessibility, system resource exhaustion, and security vulnerabilities.
