ViaSat needed to ensure the continuous availability and reliability of its critical IT services, which support essential satellite communication operations. With multiple interconnected infrastructure components, maintaining consistent uptime, monitoring service health, and identifying performance issues before they impacted users became increasingly important. The organization required a proactive approach to service management that could minimize downtime and improve operational visibility.
Designed and implemented a cloud-based service availability monitoring solution using AWS serverless technologies and Grafana dashboards. The platform provided real-time monitoring, automated alerting, service health tracking, and performance analytics across critical systems. This enabled ViaSat to proactively detect issues, optimize infrastructure performance, improve service reliability, and ensure consistent availability for business-critical operations.
