Payment Gateway Migration
Replaced the existing Braintree payment integration with Paddle, providing a more flexible and scalable subscription management system.
Sherpa, a U.S.-based innovator in real estate marketing, has been redefining how professionals generate and manage leads since 2018. Known for launching the first TCPA-compliant text messaging service, Sherpa now offers a full suite of marketing tools including SMS campaigns, direct mail, skip tracing, and advanced search capabilities. We partnered with Sherpa to enhance their platform with robust backend and frontend development, automation, and quality engineering-improving performance, payment handling, and user experience for thousands of real estate professionals.
Sherpa’s existing platform relied on an outdated Braintree-based subscription system, limiting flexibility and scalability. The lack of automated testing increased regression effort and release risks, while growing demand for advanced campaign capabilities required faster feature delivery. Additionally, the absence of a structured frontend deployment process impacted development efficiency and release consistency.
Implemented a modern payment gateway to replace the legacy subscription mechanism, enhanced campaign functionality with new engagement features and advanced filtering capabilities, introduced automated testing and QA processes to improve release reliability, and established a streamlined frontend deployment workflow to enable faster, more consistent software delivery.
